AUDIT DEPARTMENT - GEORGETOWN MAIN OFFICE

 

Assists in loan review and financial, operational, compliance and trust department audits; assists external auditors and bank examiners. 

Responsibilities

  • Performs standardized audit procedures in loan review, and financial, operational, compliance and trust department audits
  • Evaluates internal control structure of all affiliated companies
  • Prepares adequately documented workpapers
  • Assists in writing reports
  • Presents audit findings and recommendations to management
  • Assists in modifying audit procedures
  • Assumes in-charge responsibilities and duties on certain audit engagements
  • Assists in special projects
  • Other functions and responsibilities may be added at the company’s discretion.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a Business-related degree
  • Minimum of 12 hours accounting coursework
  • At least two (2) years in Internal Audit
  • Willingness to accept responsibility
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Intermediate computer and MS Office skills
  • Visual acuity, with or without correction
  • Good sense of hearing, with or without correction

 

 

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Travel to various branch locations required, mostly day trips; 2 to 4 weeks overnight possible
