  • Overview





    Responsible for Risk Management of Third Party Merchants (“clients”) for Firstnet, including new client due diligence and documentation, monitoring for heightened risk for existing clients, assistance in annual site visits to top ten clients and others with heightened risk i.e. UDAAP concerns, customer complaints etc. that merit a site visit.  Assists with operation, new product development and onboarding new clients.


    • Responsible for compliance with a State and Federal regulations and regulatory guidance related to Third Party Merchant Risk
    • Oversees due diligence and documentation for new business prospects and risk monitoring for existing Firstnet clients
    • Maintains applications, agreements and other documentation
    • Establish new accounts with finance companies, explain and answer questions on all Firstnet products
    • Schedules visits to current clients and prospective clients and completes appropriate documentation related to the visits
    • Assists in the development of new products and services.
    • Prepares and maintains reports on prospects, analysis, client on-boarding and retention.
    • Develops and maintains client product training.
    • Monitors and works to resolve client concerns.
    • Prepares proposals for review and approval by management.
    • Completes setup for new clients including electronic reporting.
    • Prepares and maintains analytical reporting



    • Attend necessary seminars, webinars, etc. and utilize various compliance resources available to stay abreast of regulatory and marketplace changes that may have impact on Firstnet
    • Attends various bank meetings
    • Analyzes current third party merchants to find new service opportunities.
    • Develops and maintains prospect presentations.
    • Assists with operation and other areas of the department as needed.
    • Other functions and responsibilities may be added at the company’s discretion


    • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Accounting or related field
    • Knowledge of Firstnet products, services, and operating procedures
    • Strong analytical skills to prepare and analyze comprehensive reports
    • Advanced computer, MS Office skills, including Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Publisher and Outlook
    • Strong ability to apply good judgment, discretion and confidentiality in all phases of work.
    • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
    • Highly organized with an ability to meet multiple deadlines



    • Will require out of town travel .
    • Flexibility in work schedule may be required.
