    The Branch Support Generalist is cross-trained in many areas to help support the Retail Delivery Group which includes the entire Branch network.  The programs and areas of support include:  Overdraft Advantage, Business Process Manager, Teller Administration, Customer communications regarding regulatory matters and knowledge of various vendor programs utilized by Retail Delivery such as Deluxe, FIS/Chex Systems, Blauser, etc.


    • Operates the Overdraft Advantage Program or is cross-trained to do so including the review of accounts daily, examining account activity, contacting customers, making system changes, and charging off accounts as required
    • Approves/denies customer participation in Overdraft Advantage (ODA) program
    • Oversees the preparation of monthly reports on overdraft income/expense and activity
    • Decisions Bluegrass Region overdrafts or is cross-trained to do so within the timeline provided by Operations
    • Provides Teller Administration or is cross-trained to do so including branch balancing, teller balancing, branch audit review of logs, surprise audits, drawer limit checks, etc. to support all Regions
    • Assists with Retail initiatives, programs and processes under direction of the Retail Delivery & Remote Banking Officer
    • Reviews or is cross-trained to review dormant accounts and escheats them annually according to regulatory requirements
    • Assists in the development and maintenance of CSR training materials, communications and training and assists CSR’s with technical problems
    • Helps support all branches with researching problems, announcing changes and tracking errors
    • Supports the Branch Support Manager with the administration of Business Process Manager for the most efficient delivery of products and services at the platform
    • Assists in ensuring that all Retail Delivery training manuals are current and rendered on the Intranet in a timely manner
    • Assists with customer communications and reporting for Reg E Opt In program, Reg D violations and collection letters.
    • Assists Branch Support Manager with other functions and responsibilities as assigned




    • Provide administrative and clerical assistance for Retail Delivery and Remote Banking Officer if necessary
    • Maintain training room calendar and equipment check out logs
    • Coordinate supply orders through our central vendor


    • Bachelors degree in business or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience that enables the incumbent to meet the job requirements
    • Three years of experience in retail banking
    • In-depth knowledge of:
      • Bank policies and procedures
      • FiServe software application
    • Service oriented with strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
    • Skill in researching issues and developing recommended actions
    • Self starter with excellent organizing, multi-tasking and prioritizing skills
    • Intermediate computer and MS Office skills
    • Visual acuity, with or without correction
    • Good sense of hearing, with or without correction




    • Must be able to accommodate flexible scheduling of hours and work location, as needed
